DEDICATION
The dedication of both Jesus Christ and Superman is incredible. Both of these men could have hidden away or given up but even through persecution, they stay dedicated in their beliefs and goal of making earth a better place.

Jesus had a tough job while teaching. But his dedication to his beliefs is what helped him along the way. Jesus had personally taken on the responsibility of mentoring his 12 apostles and sharing his teachings. As word got around and Jesus grew a following, obstacles had been created. It was no longer easy for Jesus to teach. People in high positions feared him and his motivations, but that is where they got him wrong. Jesus could have very simply given up in fear that people would want him dead if he had not quit. Instead of giving up Jesus stays dedicated in knowing that his teachings do not carry along harm but insead the word of God.

Clark Kent had to make some tough decisions before he became Superman. He had to decide whether to keep his powers a secret and live a normal American lifestyle or reveal his powers and be an icon. Ultimately Clark abandons the peaceful life that he prefers as he knows to become Superman so he can save people from danger. Similarly to Jesus, Superman also had people who feared him for his motives and powers. The difference is that the people on earth that feared Jesus did realize that he was not an enemy. Superman earned trust from the people on earth and proved his dedication to saving people since he was not forced to be a Superhero, but chose to be one for the greater good.
